Elam Apprentice Elissa Galkin Wins National Apprentice of the Year

Elissa Galkin, Elam’s 4th year apprentice has just been announced the Australian Apprentice of the Year in the Communications Category.
 
The awards function took place at the Docklands, Melbourne and was attended by the NECA national body, guest speaker, international Cricketer, Michael Bevan and the finalists from every state.
 
In accepting her award, Elissa said that she enjoyed the selection process and learnt a lot about how businesses and projects are managed.
 
Lyn Evans commented: “As her employer, I am thrilled for her. She has a natural ability in all aspects of her job, particularly Fibre Optics and communications cabling. She is a real asset to the Elam team”.
